| Mayflower Cadets 2003 present...... SHReK This years programme is set to the music of this ‘ogre sized adventure’. The performers begin using bodywork to depict the awakening of Shrek and quickly move onto blue silks as the day begins to break. As the Magnitude of Shreks quest to rescue the feisty Princess Fiona is revealed, the guard enter dramatically with large green and red silks. Both the guard and audience really enjoy the fun dance into the Kingdom of DuLoc and the show concludes on bright and colourful silks to ‘I’m a believer’ in celebration of the Shreks successful mission. In the true ‘spirit’ of the cadet class, this production not only fulfils the intention of educating our young members in both equipment and performance skills, but also in producing a programme to be enjoyed by the audience as a whole.
