Folks,
I met Sari, Mrs. Bond 009, last
Sunday, and I had a wonderful conversation with
her; I invited her to participate
in our chats. At the moment, as she explains below,
she is not able.
However, we all welcome her,
as soon as her "chaos' has subsided.
She made a magnificent contribution
to our next chat, tomorrow night,
and herewith I wish to share
it with you all.
In the name of all the Pandemonium
Crew, we welcome Sari in our midst,
and we wish her a "Bon Voyage",
and a safe return!
Enjoy her interesting, thought-provoking ideas below!
Emancipatory Greetings,
Franz.

INVITATION TO OUR NEXT INTERNATIONAL YAHOO CHAT!]

Dear Franz and Jutta,
Thanks very much for your
e-mails and your invitation
to join you. Quite
truthfully, this week is chaotic
as I am trying to get off
to the States next Thursday,
and I have more work this
week than ever for some
reason, so I don't think
I can figure out how to do
chat rooms and join you on
Thursday. However, having
read through the conversation
below (thanks for
sending it) I would like
to share what immediately
comes to my head:
In a more perfect world, there
would be no "rich-poor"
syndrome. In such a
scenario, all is shared by all.
This is more or less the
Communism preached by Jesus,
No? It is also the
system lived in most "primitive"
societies. I remember
studying the Polynesian
societies as the most perfect
in the world...Men
hunting or deepsea fishing,
women farming, weaving,
etc., the old took care of
babies, older children took
care of younger, all cared
for, all property communal.
In Melonesia, in the Fiji
Islands, where I worked for
IWCA, I learned that before
the conquistadores
(English, of course) came
and changed everything, no
one had belongings. Anyone
could go into anyone's hut
and go off with anything.
After all, they all had the
same Tapa cloth from threes,
the same Tapara bowls,
etc. so it didn't make much
difference. It is when
you get into the capitalist
system that you have
property and no-property,
servants and the elite, etc.
Look at the French, Russian,
English empires, etc.,
the 1 percent living in ridiculous
luxury on the labor
of the millions of long-suffering
serfs. We've come
along way since then in reincorporating
the "poor"
into the "human race that
counts", if only because the
poor now have the right to
vote (supposedly) and
therefore have to be placated.
But again, from my supposedly
"metaphysical" point of
view, WE ARE ALL ONE. Therefore,
when I help my
brother, I help myself, etc.
But we live in the world that
spends thousands of $ or
Marks EVERY DAY to refrigerate
the excess cheeses
etc., and throws wheat into
the sea to keep the world
prices stable, and then give
a pittance to Africa to
save the starving millions,
whom "we" prefer to have
remain starving millions,
so we "give" them just
enough to salve our conscience
and keep the vote, but
not enough to actually change
the situation.
Anyway, I can't go on, but
I just wanted to throw some
ideas into the soup, as it
were, if you can use them
or find them interesting.
Hector is here to show me
photos of Juan Feliz
Sanchez.
It was truly a pleasure and
a privilege to meet you and
have the opportunity to converse
with you.
Seeing that Franz' last name
is Lee, are you of
Chinese Blood. I remember
saying that to me you
looked more Chinese than
German. Forgive my ignorance
in not knowing who you are...but
it's great to know
you are friends! :-)
Best wishes.
Love,
Sari
