Languages

I am a philologist (History, Literature and Linguistics) and a linguist. I understand language in depth; Semantics, Grammar, Syntax and Phonetics. Spanish is my mother tongue. I am fluent in English, both speaking and writing, and posses a good knowledge of the British and American literature, history and culture.

Interests

I enjoy reading and writing poetry, both in English and in Spanish (see www.geocities.com/sol_y_lluvia1991), and narrative. I also enjoy listening and playing music (see www.myspace.com/thesonicloop) and going to concerts. I have a wide knowledge of music and film, including a large collection of records and cds and films. I have a music radio programme titled All The Way which you can listen at the Grain Division. I enjoy photography and painting, and take an interest in art. I also love animals and outdoor sports such as cycling, skating, tennis, badminton and indoor and outdoor swimming.

I enjoy travelling, and have visited Mexico, Portugal, Germany, Holland, France and I have travelled extensively within Spain and Great Britain. I take a great interest in culture, history, art and landscape on the countries I visit.
