| What's New in March?? |
| 03/08/02 - I have NEVER been so gosh darned cold in my entire life!! Chicago was so cold!! It reached a wind chill factor of -22!! Ok, please note, after you get into the single digits, it's just beyond ridiculously cold - after it gets into the negative, you just don't feel anything anymore! Further, I went out on one of the coldest nights all season (5 degrees in no wind) and as I was walking to the car, the insides of my nose began to crystalize!! THAT was NASTY!! Anyhow, i made it home, safe & sound. All is well in jenny land. Hopefully will have another update by next week!! |
| 03/11/02 - ARGH!! The phones at my office is really driving me to my death. We've been down more hours than we've been up in the last week. I am sick to death of these darned things!! It's amazing how passionately I can hate phone systems!! This weekend was uneventful. Just slept a lot on Saturday and had a baby shower on Sunday. I'm off to Las Vegas this weekend with Erin. Well, hopefully, i'll be able to post some good news on Wednesday or Thursday, so be sure to check back then!! |
| 03/12/02 - Well, i'm able to impart my news sooner than I thought! I will soon be the new Event Planner for Teleflora!! I'm not 100% sure when my last day at Schwarzkopf will be, but it will definitely be bittersweet. Thumbs down to miles, by the way, who had the audacity to post it on his website YESTERDAY!! He scooped me on my OWN STORY!!! Man, this whole process of getting this job has been ALL GOD!! It's just amazing how quickly i actually got the job! The flow, the problems - EVERYTHING - was totally smoothed over & away! I feel really at peace about my decision, too. There was someone with whom I've had a lot of problems with and she called me into her office yesterday (before I had made my announcement) to clear stuff up. So now I can leave with a clear conscience. I'm really happy about my new position!! I can't wait for everything to come together!! |
| 03/30/2002 - just came back from Vegas...again. I'm going again next Friday for work. Some might think I have a problem. Didn't lose, didn't win. My cousins are in town this week on vacation. I'm running around trying to get them from here to there. I'm tired. My last day of work was on Friday, March 22. I was very sad to leave...but excited, too. Heinz & Marleen took me to Lilly's for lunch - YUMMY! Dienah ordered me a going away & happy birthday cake. Got all kinds of parting gifts. :) yay! I've been to 2 teleflora meetings - my boss seems really cool. At least I hope so. Bad news - I got called to jury duty AGAIN. SCREWED!! I don't know what I'm going to do about work. This completely BITES!!! *SIGH*... |
