09/21/2001 - It's been 10 days since the attack on the World Trade Center. To date, the number of missing people from the WTC has risen to 6,333 and continuing to rise. I can't believe the mass destruction and sheer horror of all that had transpired on September 11. I have tried not to be too introspective about the whole incident...I just know it's one of those things that I will never fully understand.
I went to hear Pastor John MacArthur speak at Grace Community Church. The thing that struck me the most was his comment (paraphrased): "Yes, it was a tragedy that all those people had to die at once, but the question isn't, 'why did God allow all those people to die?', the question is, 'why did God allow you to live?' This is your wake up call." |
