I never realized just how much personality ferrets had until I got Athena. In addition to loving attention and being very affectionate, she does some of the silliest things I've ever seen. I have yet to understand her fetish with plastic, and why she thinks anything made of plastic belongs under my bed. One of the funniest things I love to see her do is run away from me backwards as I chase her around the room. They are also some of the most curious creatures, having to explore every inch of whatever room you put them in. And it's no use trying to keep Athena out of something; she always finds a way. Just yesterday I spent two hours cleaning up all the dirt that she dug out of the one plant that I have; which I thought was safe from her while it was on my desk. She practically buried my printer.
