Lil Tootie was rescued in June 1999 on the street with all her little ribs showing, and on the verge of death. She was taken in with open arms, and brought back to excellent health, and given all the TLC she could take. She was a wonderful animal, my friend, buddy, and shadow. In the evenings we sat on the front porch together and watched the traffic go by. In Feb. 2002 she was diagnosed with Mammary Cancer. She got all the medical attention she could be given, and love also. My Lil Tootie fought hard not to leave me, but on Sept 18.2002 4:30AM she passed over the Rainbow Bridge in my arms. There is no way I will ever forget her, I'll always love her with all my heart. Charlotte... |
My deepest sympathies to Charlotte for her loss, mammary cancer is a most difficult disease not only for the pet but for the owner who must watch their most beloved companion slip away. At least I know that when my gal Sasha looses her battle with the mammary cancer she'll now have another companion to guide her over the bridge. My heart is with you Charlotte, and we will forever have Tootie live on in our memories... Webmistress Kit |
