The new piston rings from Deves are at the machine shop. I took in the set of mains, minus the
center thrust bearing, that I picked up for $5 on eBay. Also three pieces of rope seal that came
in parts lots that I got from eBay. Bud's Benz is working on finding bearings & bushings for the rods,
a clutch pilot bearing, and a front main seal.

Guy at Bud's says there are 3 different #s for rod bearings, needs number from rod.

Worked on getting off the big nut that holds the spare tire cradle. Without too much effort, broke off the
top of the hanging rod out of its hanger. Well, the spare tire's down, anyway.
