12/10/2005: My third semester of grad school is about to end. I am currently working on my Master's thesis. A pretty good semester overall.      The DVD list has been updated: about 1,500 discs now. I am pretty excited about Season 7 of the Simpsons coming out in a few days as this is my favorite season and I have been looking forward to it for years.      Rachel and I will be getting married in a few months. We'll be going to Texas for Christmas vacation and taking care of some of the arrangements then.      My latest favorite thing on the internet?: Classic Nintendo Power magazine scans at www.retromags.com. Ah, 8-bit nostalgia!

5/8/2005: Summer is off to a pretty good start. I am taking care of business at school, getting ready for my scary August prelim exam, the HBES Conference next month, and our friends Jeff and Crystal's Wedding. The latter two of these till take place during the first week of June in Texas. It will be nice to see my old friends again. I get to stay with Dan in Austin. Also, I just integrated my PC and home theater system by running cables across the house. Now I can enjoy downloaded media in my living room without the hassles of processing and burning. As far as web page updates are concerned, I have updated the DVD collection page. As of today it's up to 1,374 discs. Also, I will be adding to the Blasting Page as Tyler and I discovered the joys if zinger launching!

4/5/2005: The spring semester will be over in a few weeks. I have definitely enjoyed my first year of graduate school. Rachel and I have finally set a date for our wedding: March 11, 2006. The DVD collection continues to grow. As of today it's up to 1,280 discs. My most recent aquisition: American Splendor. A fine film indeed. Finally, if you are a Fiona Apple fan then you should know that she has an album that the studios refuse to release. I have gotten my hands on a copy and let me tell you it's great. 1/12/2005: It's a new year and I decided to update the page. The latest count of the DVD collection is 1,058 discs. Insanity? Indeed. Things have been EXTREMELY busy at school during the start of the Spring semester. Rachel and I are still enjoying our new home. One of these days I will post some pictures of the house as well as pictures from this past christmas in Michigan. Some other interesting news: There was a hostage situation in my neighborhood last night that was peacefully resolved. Finally, I'll be going to a conference in New Orleans on the 19th.     Good times!
