For this mystery quilt you will need your normal quilting notions.
     Rotary cutter, ruler, and mat
     sewing machine
     thread
     iron
ETC.  You get the idea.  If you have any questions about what you will need let me know.
Now for the fun part.....the fabric
You will need:

30  6" x 6"  pieces I-Spy, Alphabet, or other novelty type fabric.                                **See below for a variation.

The next two should be 2 fabrics that are opposite of each other.  You will need colors that are definately different from each other. These will not be next to each other though.  For example, blue and red, or green and yellow, etc.

1/2 yard of each color.  Label the first one A and the second one B.

The next two should also be 2 fabrics that are opposite of each other. And these should be different than the first two. These two fabrics will be next to each other. For example red and black, black and white, etc.

1 Fat Quater of each color.  Label the first D and the second E.
**A Fat Quarter measures 18" x 22".  This fabric should NOT
                     have a direction to it.

This last fabric is your border.  You will need 3/4 of a yard.  I'll let you look at your fabrics and decide what color this should be.

FABRIC VARIATIONS: You could have doubles of each fabric and scatter them around the quilt to make it an I-Spy memory game.

Be on the look out for the next part next week!!!
