Corn Bread a La Mexico

Ingredients

2 pkgs corn bread mix
1 cup canned corn (whole kernal)
1 tbsp sugar
small chopped onion
1/2 cup milk
small green pepper chopped
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup oil or melted shortening
2 eggs beaten

Directions

Mix all ingredients until well blended.  Bake in well greased pan into which a little meal has been sprinkled.  Have baking pan piping hot.  Bake in 450* oven for about 35 minutes.
