Wisconsin Chunky Tomato Cheese Pie

Ingredients

5 medium sized tomatoes
2 cups cheddar cheese cubes
1/2 cup italian style bread crumbs
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup thin chedar cheese slices
9" unbaked pie shell

Directions

Cut 4 tomatoes into cubes and slice remaining tomato.  Preheat oven to 375*.  In a bowl, combine tomato cubes, cheese cubes, bread crumbs, flour, sugar, and salt.  Toss until well mixed.  Pour into pie shell.  Bake until cheese is melted and tomato cubes are soft (about 30 minutes).  Remove from oven; garnish with tomato slices and cheese slices.  Bake for additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and tomatoes are soft.
