Joe Torre connected with a 'big fly' and had 2 RBI at Tiger Stadium as the
Harvey Wallbangers lost a heartbreaker to Bat Cracking Bombers by the score
of 8 to 7.

Bat Cracking scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 9th inning.  After
an out was recorded, Hank Aaron smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 4th
of the season) making Bat Cracking victorious to the delight of the the home
town crowd.  Bat Cracking rapped out 12 hits for the night. 

Bruce Sutter(1-0) went 1 inning allowing no runs for the win. Dick Radatz(1-1)
was given the loss in relief.  He allowed 1 run and 1 hit in 1/3 of an
inning.
