Hank Greenberg added four ribbies to his seasonal total with one swing of the
bat as the Harvey Wallbangers were badly beaten by the Brentwood Bearcats, 17
to 6.

Greenberg had a big evening at the plate.  He electrified the crowd with a
Grand Slam home run (his 6th of the season) in the 4th inning and doubled in
the 8th inning.  Brentwood bats were hot in the 4th inning which saw them
plate 8 runs on 5 hits and the 8th inning when they had 4 runs on 6 hits.
Harvey was out-hit by Brentwood, 17 hits to 11. 

Nolan Ryan(1-2) picked up the victory, allowing 5 runs in 7 and 1/3 innings.
Eddie Cicotte(2-1) was the loser.  He was knocked around by Brentwood,
allowing 8 hits and 3 walks in 3 and 1/3 innings.
