Joe Wood racked up an impressive total of 11 strikeouts as the N. Ridgeville
Bandits outscored the Cleveland Mayors 7 to 3.

Wood(3-2) gave N. Ridgeville a solid outing.  He didn't allow much, just 5
hits and 1 walk in 8 innings seeing his ERA drop from 5.93 to 4.93.  N.
Ridgeville finished with 9 hits while Cleveland ended up with 5.

Tim Keefe(0-3) was the losing pitcher.  When asked about his strikeout total
for the game, Wood offered, 'The fan's really got into it.  It is fun to see
them tally up the strikeout totals up there in the stands.  Fortunately, I
kept them busy this afternoon - of course, it would be all for naught without
the 'W'.'
