The Harvey Wallbangers won by the slimmest of margins, 5 to 4. Sacramento never recovered after Harvey took the lead in the top of the 6th inning scoring a single run on 2 hits. Sacramento threatened in the 9th but Harvey was able to put down the rally. The win went to Greg Maddux(3-2) who allowed 3 runs in 7 innings. Dick Radatz gained credit for his 7th save. Don Drysdale(3-6) was hit with the loss. He gave up 6 hits and 4 walks in 6 and 2/3 innings. |
