In a close game the Limerick Hurlers were certainly pleased to stop the
bleeding as their 6 game losing streak was finally halted and got by the
North Eaton Posy DagGumits by the score of 7 to 5.

Chief Bender(2-3) contributed a pedestrian performance to earn the win.  He
went 7 innings surrendering 8 hits and 2 walks.  The North Eaton bats were
silent in the bottom of the 9th.

Bender was helped out by Stan Coveleski who recorded his 3rd save.  Russ
Ford(3-5) took the loss.  He served up 3 homeruns in his 7 innings.

The Limerick ballclub's record now stands at 20-27.  With the loss, North
Eaton has a record of 5-5 lately, 26-19 overall.
