WEB GEMS- Bot 2nd: Barry Larkin robbed Bobby Bonds of a base hit.

Frankie Frisch went deep and had 3 RBI as the Bat Cracking Bombers crushed the
Cleveland Mayors 14 to 3.

The home town fans were very appreciative of the fine hitting performance
provided by Frisch.  He smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 5th of the
season) in the 1st inning, tripled which scored a run in the 5th inning and
lined a one-base hit bringing in a run in the 8th inning.  Bat Cracking had
19 hits for the game and Cleveland had 9.

Jake Weimer(7-2) allowed 3 runs in 7 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Bruce Sutter recorded his 14th save.  Steve Karsay(0-1) took the
loss.  He was knocked around by Bat Cracking, allowing 10 hits and 3 walks in
4 innings.
