Hooks Wiltse delivered 7 solid innings and Johnny Pesky had 2 base hits and 2
RBI as the Harvey Wallbangers defeated the Bat Cracking Bombers in 11 innings
by the score of 3 to 2 at SAFECO Field.

The score was knotted at 2 after nine innings.  Harvey ended up winning it in
the 11th inning.  Bill Terry slapped a one-base hit.  Terry swiped second
base.  After an out was recorded, Pesky stepped up to the plate and he ripped
a base-knock giving Harvey the victory as 39,808 happy fans celebrated
wildly.  Harvey out-hit Bat Cracking for the game, 9 hits to 4. 

Mike Cuellar(3-2) got credit for the victory, pitching 2 innings and allowing
no runs. The loss was charged to Hideo Nomo(3-2) in relief.
