Paul Molitor went deep as the N. Ridgeville Bandits defeated the Hinckley
Buzzards in 10 innings by a score of 5 to 4 at Municipal Stadium.

The score was tied at 4 after nine.  N. Ridgeville won the game in the 10th
inning.  Mo Vaughn laced a one-base hit.  Carlton Fisk stepped up next and he
laced a single.  Al Simmons then delivered a base-hit to load the bases.
Dave Concepcion stepped in and he stroked a one-base hit making N. Ridgeville
the victors to the delight of the home town faithful.  N. Ridgeville banged
out 14 on the afternoon. 

The win was credited to Monte Ward(1-1) who went 1 inning allowing no runs.
Lee Smith(2-6) took the loss in relief.  N. Ridgeville now has a record of
37-57.  With the loss, Hinckley has a record of 5-5 lately, 35-57, worst in
the division overall.
