Gordon had a big day against Limerick. He delivered a solo blast (his 17th of the season) in the 2nd inning and tripled scoring two baserunners in the 4th inning. North Eaton managed 11 in their victory. Ed Walsh(14-5) was the winner allowing 7 runs in 8 innings. Walsh was helped out by Jeff Montgomery who recorded his 24th save. Don Newcombe(7-12) was the losing pitcher. North Eaton scored big getting 8 runs off him in 3 and 1/3 innings. The North Eaton ballclub's record now stands at a division leading 68-41.
