The Trillium Trilogy

Although these books are quite good they are nowhere near as good as the books I have described on the previous pages! The first book "Black Trillium" is co-written with Marion Bradley and Andre Norton and there are a few other Trillium books written by the other two on their own as well.

The books tell the story of three princesses (triplets in fact!) whose kingdom is destroyed and invaded by another realm. The only way to avenge their parents deaths is to learn how to use the Trilliums power and use this power to defeat the evil wizard Orogastus.

Worth a read but do not expect to enjoy these books as much as the others!

The Rampart Worlds

Unfortuantly these books are similar to the Trillium books as they are not as good as the others. In fact I must confess that I have only read the first in the series at the moment! I have bought the second and plan to read it soon and I think the third has only just been released. Im not sure if the Rampart Worlds are a trilogy or not so there may be more to come!

The hero of the books is a man called Helmut Icicle (nicknamed Helly) whose father runs one of the biggest corporations in the world (no not Microsoft!!). Helly got involved in a scandel, resigned and started a new life as a ship captain on the planet Kedge-Lockaby. His life was peaceful until one day his house is eaten by a giant Sea-Toad and he realises that he has become involved somehow in a Galactic Conspiracy!

When I get round to reading the second and third books I will update this page but at the moment I wouldnt really recommed the Rampart Worlds!
