| Dance is used to honour the Goddess and God, to raise supernatural powers and releases latent spiritual forces. While in Gor, the slave/kajira dances to show honour to the Master/Mistress/Free. Again, showing love and respect. It also shows release of her/his desires and feelings towards their owner(s). In both lifestyles, dance is a form of art, beauty, passion, life and nature. With dance and music, it is a form of purity and and spiritual ecstasy, in the form of the slave/kajira as well as for each individual of the Wicca tradition. Binding is used in both lifestyles, for similar reasons, to restrict ones movements. In Wicca, it is a spell, which withholds or restricts the flow of energy. It is also used in initiation symbolising the restriction in the womb, while a blindfold is used to symbolise the darkness of the womb. While in Gor, it is a physical binding, used to restrain a slave/kajira, for the Master/Mistress pleasure or to do whatever is wished. Deprivation is also used in both lifestyles. In Wicca, it is a form to deprive one of their senses, so they may focus on their spiritual inner being. In Gor, deprivation is used on a slave/kajira, for a similar thing, though also and mainly used as a punishment, so that the slave/kajira can focus and use this time to reflect upon the wrong she/he has done. In conclusion, it seems to me that in Gor, a slave/kajira is always bettering oneself to please her owner(s), to love, serve, honour and respect her owners every whim. While in Wicca, each individual are wanting to please the Goddess and God on also bettering themselves, showing honour, respect and love to the Deities.
