From there, exhausted, I continued down Pike Central turning into Barto Leggett Rd.I intersected Old 24 EXT. and went east a short ways seeing Love Creek. I went down Love. Love led to Dykes-Walthall County Rd. I don't know about who Dykes was, but I can speak for Walthall. Don't worry, no CW lesson coming. Without warning, the road had changed to Brockdale and then to Stallings Bridge. I crossed the Bogue Chitto River rejoining MS 27. I went a bit north and got onto Lexie Road at Lexie, headed east. Lexie changed into Edgar Holmes. Edgar into Mt. Moriah Rd. going east until I hit Airline and went south until going east again on Ryals Rd. Ryals hit Lees Chapel Rd., and south I went until Hobgood Rd went south to PR 179 which I took east until I hit PR. 184. The "PR" means Parish Road, meaning I was in Louisiana.
Or Part Road, meaning I was in Louisiana, or Piecemeal Road, meaning I was in Louisiana. I took 184 southwest to PR 183 which went south and hit La.438 (west of Thomas). I went east until I saw PR 49 south. PR 49 hits PR 52 and you go north for about a foot and then continue on PR 50 south. PR 50 runs into PR 87 that goes south crossing La.436 and continues all the way to La. 10 which I took east into Bogalusa where I got on wonderful, but hard to find and follow, La.60. It does the up and down snake all the way back to Enon and is worth every Bogalusa switchback it takes to follow it out of town. What a ride. I didn't leave anything out so you can follow it.
