Andre Marek Casting
According to the Hollywood reporter, Scottich actor
Gerard Butler will play the role of Andre Marek!
I think he will make a good Marek. Chris has also
been casted, I'll get some news on that soon.
Timeline Underway
Richard Donner has been confirmed to direct Timeline.
Pre-production will begin in November, with principal
photography beginning February or March. The release
date is most likely late 2002.

Chris Hughes Casting
A few days ago, the Hollywood Reporter announced the casting of another Timeline character, Chris Hughes. He will be played by Paul Walker, who signed onto a $3 million contract for his co-star role.

Timeline Slowed Down
According to IGN.com, Timeline has been slowed down as a result of the actor's strike. Pre-production however, is doing just great, but shooting probably won't begin until six months in the future.

Timeline Pushed Back Until 2003
Several websites, including IGN.com and UpcomingMovies.com have reported that Timeline has officially been pushed back for a release date 2003. Sources say Paramount is using the film to front the year's campaign.
