Madhav Institute of Technology & Science

Established in the year 1957 Madhav Institute of Technology & Science (MITS), Gwalior is one of the country's premier institute for science and technology studies. The first President of India late Dr. Rajendra Prasad laid the foundation stone of the main building of the institute on October,28, 1956. The Institute was inaugurated by the then President of India late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on December 11,1964. Thereafter the state Government of MP as well as the Government of India paid various grants in aid for the development of this Institute.
