Edward Allard born August 8th 1888, son of Albert and Laura Allard. He married Edme Montagne born March 9th. 1890. Edme was the daughter of Edward and Anna. Anna was the daughter of Michael and Olive Allard. Edward Montagne was the son of Isaac and Marguirte.
Edward and Edme had six children, Jerome-b1912-1946 (died age 4 of illness), Oswald-b1915-1999, Georgette-b1917-2000, Martin-b1919-2001, Laverne-b1923-1944 (killed in WWII age 21), and Dean Edward (born Marion Eldean) August 21st 1930.
Dean was born in Jefferson, South Dakota. At the age of 12 his father moved the family out west to Seattle, Washington and found work at the Bremerton Shipyard. Dean graduated from Odea H.S. and then attended Seattle University where he met my mother.
Edward and Edme celebrated their 50th wedding anniversity on November 20th. 1961. Edward died in February 1967 at age 78.
Edme died March 9th. 1977. |
