Mary and Deans Family
Edward Allard (Dean Edward II) was born in 1951, Gerald 1952, Robert 1953, Timothy 1954, Daniel 1955, Kathy 1959, Michael 1963, and Mary Jo 1969.
Most of the 50's and 60's Dean and Mary live in the Northwest suburbs of Seattle. Moving from what is now Shoreline, Washington to Wenatchee, Washington in 1970.
In Wenatchee Dean ventured away from nearly 20 years in the trucking transportation business and in 1970 began operating
A to Z rentals. In 1971 he moved the family (ex. Ed and Gerry) to Lubbuck, Texas to venture back into the trucking business again.
While living in Texas we visited Deans family in Sioux City, Iowa and we saw the Allard school there. In Texas we visited Palo Duro Canyons we also visited Six Flags over Texas. Ed and Gerry finally joined us after a while in Lubbuck.
In 1972 it was off to Arvada, Colorado (suburb of Denver) quite a change from Lubbuck. Christmas 1972 brought the Allards back to the Northwest for good.
The whole family still lives within 90 minutes from one another
here in the great northwest of Washington State. |
