Television in the  60's.
An amazing invention and the true birth of the information era.
When it became increasingly popular in the 50's, 60's and 70's.
-Before cable, before dishes,
back when you only had 12 channels and only
half came in well with or without
an antenna, and if it came in,  programming was weak-
it was in this pioneer time I started watching in the late 60's, right when the landing gear was coming up and it was really starting to take off.  Reruns revolutionized the T.V.
Classic shows like
Andy Griffith, Dick Van Dyke, Mr. Ed, The Honeymooners, and
I Love Lucy  just to name a few.

These shows are funny, witty, performances recorded in front of a "
live studio audience" in most cases.

These shows have become part of my childhood and growing up and a good bet they have become a part of your life as well.

Here I have posted a "scrapbook" of  some of my favorite shows, the ones I watched and watched over and over.

I now present sights and sounds of T.V. I grew up with.

Click on "=THEME SONG =" listed next to pictures.
The first shows I remember watching was Romper-room
and J.P. Patches, Captain kangaroo and cartoons....
