| As you can see, we had lots of help on this 1999 lesser known star wars sculpture. The Ronto with Jawa rider is our tallest sculpture to date. Usually when we begin a sculpture we do the classic snow man building procedure of rolling large balls of snow. This is a great tecnique because you are able to get large quantities of snow built up quickly and fairly easily. Unfortunately, even though the snow would pack, it would not roll! Thus, we were forced to fill wheel |
| barrels full of snow and then pile them up. Once we had the base built up, the helpers below would lift a block of snow up to those on top of the mighty beast. This sculpture was so large that we had to use a ladder to complete the work on the head. |
| If you ask me, without any ammo belts, that jawa kinda looks like Orko from Masters of the Universe. |
