Objective of the Congress
The prime objective of the 5th National Level Biological Congress is to bring together Scientists, Technologists, Industrialists, Professors, Research Scholars, and Students on a common forum and to have a discussion on the pros and cons of Biotechnology and to bring out the far-reaching consequences of Bioscientific research. Biotechnology is a very rapidly emerging new branch of Biosciences and it is very appropriately called "technology of hope" because it promises food, health and environmental sustainability. The Indian Biotechnology sector is gaining global visibility and is being tracked for emerging investment opportunities.
"Biotechnology: A Global Perspective" will be highlighting the following thrust areas and will analyze and find universal remedies for the problems like hunger, poverty, ill health, pollution, unemployment etc.
