2/02/03 Timothy Michael Clark is born!
Debbie and Andrew Clark announce the birth of their son, Timothy Michael. Tim was born Sunday afternoon, February 2 at 3:30 pm. He weighs in at 8 lbs, 14 ounces, 22 ". Four days late but Timothy finally decided to make his way into the world. Everyone is doing great! Ten fingers and ten toes. Rew the new Dad was ecstatic. The family is now at home and doing great. Debbie and Andrew Clark announced the big news last week. The Grandparents and Uncle-to-be are ecstatic. About to complete her first trimester, Debbie and Andrew are looking forward to the January 29 due-date. Deb can be emailed at: damc@earthlink.net . Congrats Debbie and Andrew!
6/24/02 Results of the ultrasound are in. The next Updegraft is a girl!!!!
Expectant mom Jenny and Grandma Pat are ecstatic. Timmy says, "Rats, I wanted a boy."
6/23/02 Joe, Patti, Amy, Alan, Geri, and Gregg watch Chris ride off into history at Hollywood Park...
...along with Judy, Erin, Stevie, Kristen and about 200 of their closest friends. It was a storybook ending with Chris winning the 5th race right on cue before HP held a special ceremony in the winners' circle honoring him. Then on the last mount of his glorious career he took the 7th race by 3 lengths on Came Home. And the crowd went wild!!! Some guy in Texas paid $8500 at an auction to buy the silks Chris wore in the race. Chris and Judy will be off to Australia soon for an extensive tour, thanks to HP and Quantas. Hard to keep dry eyes that day.

6/22 Alexander Fay pitches No-Hitter in championship game!
Barrington RI - He's only 11, but he had major league poise. Congrats Alex! Don't hurt your elbow!
6/16 Chris Announces Retirement!
After a 28 plus year career, Chris has decided to hang up the whip. I'm sure I speak for the entire family when I say we will surely miss the excitement of racing, but I think we all breath a collective sigh of relief in knowing Chris has made it safely through his incredible career. Check out the Uncle Chris Tribute Page! Some members of the Boston area McCarrons are considering a trip to Rockingham to watch the simulcast of the last race on Sunday, June 23.
6/16 Barbara Foley to hit the big five-oh!
The exact date is still unknown. We were still waiting for carbon-dating results from a strand of her hair to try and pin down the exact date of her birthday. Barbara wasn't available for comment, she is hard to reach due to her constant triathlon training. Stay tuned for more info.

Judy will be in Springfield visiting her family from June 13th through June 21st. Stay tuned for details on a get together.
5/28 Lane Graduates from College!
On May 18th, Lane received her certification of Registered Nurse, as she received her B.S. from Shepherd College. Lane begins her medical career on June 10, at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Lane also made the Dean's List in her final semester! Saturday May 11, Barrington, RI. Collin was not available for comment this morning, word on the street is he looking forward to the 11th. Sources close to him have heard Collin saying he is hoping to reap large sums of cash on his holy day.
4/27 Debbie and Andrew by home
April, 2002. Debbie and Andrew Clark are the proud owners of a beautiful home in East Longmeadow Massachusetts. East Longmeadow, Eastie as its known by its town-folk (known as Easties), is a suburb of Springfield. Move-in date is set for Saturday, April 27. Call Deb if anyone feels like indenturing themselves to slave labor. Pictures to come!
4/27 Long lost cousin discovered in Boston!
Lucky's Lounge, Boston, MA. Went out to meet some friends with my roommate Chris Friday night. Met up with a friend of his (Kricket) and some friends of her's. After speaking with Kricket for a while the subject of last names came up. When I said mine was McCarron, she said "oh, like the jockey?"....I chuckled and said "Yeah!" she then informed me that Chris is somehow related to her, a cousin she thought. I nearly fell out of the booth as I informed her that I too was related to him! We nearly fell over laughing....the Coronas didn't help either. It turns out she is the daughter of Alice Gately-Lombardo, and the Grand Daughter of Alice Julian-Gatley, Nana's first cousin!!! In fact, she went on to tell me that Alice was in Nana and Grandpa's wedding! She remembered most of the family names, but remembered Nana and Grandpa mostly from the Cape. She grew up mostly in Winchester but had a summer place right around the corner from us in the Yachtsman condos. Whidden Ave. was part of her jogging route, and would occasionally stop by to visit Nana and Grandpa. Who knows, maybe we even met her! We traced our roots back as best we could, and as far as we can tell, we are third cousins. Now I have some motivation to build the family-tree portion of the website! I need some help with it though. If anyone has some done some genealogy work, and would care to share it, it would help me out greatly. Email me what you have. Kricket is now 26 and resides in Brighton. Don't be a stranger Kricket!

4/26 Crisis: Mark McCarron's TV explodes! At odds with Best Buy...
Holbrook, MA. "Yes it blew up on Wednesday. The repair people must take it back to the shop next Wednesday and the earliest I will have it back is 14 to 20 days. So I called best buy to see if they would give me a loner or refund me the cost to rent. I even explained the Derby connection and the need to have the TV. They stated no they would not do that. In fact the manager of the Braintree Best Buy even stated I was lucky I purchased the extended warranty or I would be buying another TV from them. I calmly explained in my quiet manner he was nuts." Wrote Mark. This is obviously a humanitarian issue. Government agencies have been contacted including the National Guard. In the meantime, if anyone can provide this family with a TV set for the KY Derby, it would be much appreciated. Note: If anyone sees a family of four with dark circles around their eyes, wandering the streets of Holbrook aimlessly, please guide them back to George Rd. Thanks.
4/25 Lane is getting married!
July 20th. Martinsburg WV and Charles Town. Most folks are staying at the Holiday Inn in Martinsburg, rate $89/night.
4/25 Jenny Updegraft is pregnant with 4th!
The Updegrafts are expecting their fourth baby on December 5, 2002. Think Girl! "Eight!!!"
