to . . . AIS Reading My goal this year is to help my students become more skillful readers! What we are currently doing in ~ AIS *Many of the passages on the New York State Exams are personal narratives. We began the year reading and writing personal narratives. These stories will serve as a benchmark assessments. The students are also taking a brief comprehension test in order to bench mark their current level. Since they are reading The Outsiders in English class, we will be reinforcing vocabulary, spelling and comprehension.
