| BABY ANGELS Listen, can you hear that tinkling? Silver bells upon the breeze Angel wings are fluttering softly In and out amongst the trees. Fluffy clouds are up there floating And on them baby angels sleep On and on they slowly drift by The tiny souls they safely keep. How I wish and want and wonder Where my tiny babies are Are they sleeping with the angels? They are so near and yet so far. | Thundery clouds are drifting past me Lightening crackles in the air Raindrops falling all around us We're warm and dry, don't have a care. Puddles form upon the pathways Children splash and laugh with glee Oh, how my angels I'd love to see there Playing, jumping, alive with me.
