I used to be pretty active during college. I was a Student Senator, Asian American Student Union, etc. Well, now that I'm in the real world, I'm not. And maybe living in the middle of Kansas has awakened a more militant side. Whatever the reason, this is my outlet. Below you'll find the occassional thought and a few links I've found.

I've been trying to learn more about the 442nd and the 100th Battalion.
In case ya don`t know, they were US Army units in WWII composed of Japanese
Americans. The 442nd became the most decorated unit in US military
history and produced 21 Congressional Medal of Honor (CMH) recepients.
Unfortunately this bit of history is normally neglected and ignored. I spent a few hours at Borders and Barnes & Nobles trying to find any thing about them. Found bubkis except for an excerpt from Tom Brokaw`s the Greatest Generation. In it he profiled Sen. Daniel Inouye who was a Lt. in the 442nd and eventually received the CMH.
Like I said, its an important part of history I think more people should know about. So, below are a few links that`ll help you learn more. I really recommend you visit them, especialy 442nd.com and support their efforts to have a film made.
