ROMEO T. LAMAN, MD | ||||||||||||||
He is popular and loved by the kabasalenos for being true, loyal, generous, charitable, an exotic cook and easy to deal with. After Marian College High School Batch 1970, he finished AB History at Silliman University, Dunaguete City. Not contented with it, he proceeded to study to become Doctor of Medicine at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC), Quezon City. After which, he conscientiously served as a doctor as follows: Initially as company physician of Zamboanga Rubber Co. Inc. Tambanan, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay and resident physician of St. John General Hospital, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay. At present he works as cooperative physician of GABEMCO, Kabasalan, ZSP, and Medical Consultant of the Municipal Health Office of Kabasalan. Not contented with just being a doctor, he ran for public office, won and served as Municipal Councilor of Kabasalan for nine years. he also into voluntary works being member of several organizations, namely: Jaycees, Guardian, Alpha Phi Omega, Couples for Christ, Knights of Columbus and Zamboanga Sibugay Medical Society. He is married to Pamela O. Laman, teacher of Kabasalan Central Elementary School with whom they have one child, Bryan Clinton. In spite all his achievements, he hopes to have more success in life and plans to work abroad. |
