| What were the dark ages? and why do they call them the dark ages? Dark as in color, dark as in blah, dark as in couldn't see???? I guess you could say that the dark ages were classified as being "dark". As we are "bright" now? Nah...What was wrong with the dark ages? We knew nothing, did nothing, were nothing?? But now, as of right now, we are brighter...Sure and donkeys can fly........ Brighter in "Wars", Brighter in "politics", Brighter in "contraceptivies", brighter in "knowledge of things that are going on around us"??? Think again.....How bright are we????? |
| The Golden Years are suppose to be the "highlight" of your life. That's what they will tell you. You work all your life to get to the "golden years" only to find out that you are to old to do the things you have been saving for all thoughts years. Why not enjoy the "golden years" when you are young? Makes sense to me. But what do I know! One thing for sure is that "you can take it with you", but can you enjoy it? NO! So spend it now. Your children can get it the same way you had to... WORK FOR IT..... |

Ever wonder what they mean by being a "worry wart"? Me, too... Only thing I can figure out is that anyone who worries a lot, and I mean alot, must be a worry wart. Warts are things that grow on your body, does that mean that if you have warts, you also worry? Or does it mean that worrying brings on warts? Whatever........ |
| Ah, The Computer....How did we ever live without it? Remember when there were no computers? If you do then you must be close to my age..The computer is a "God sent", we could have used it years ago. But, then again, we could have used a lot of things years ago. Before autos, before electric power, before highways, before television, before radios. Before I get into other things that were before the computer, I'll stop here. Anyway, back to the computers, they are the age of today and I believe that by the year 2000 everyone should have at least one. This is the only way to really get around the world in no time. Nice to go wherever you want and not cost to much. Just the price of a computer and some software, and the market is getting better and better all the time. A dial up server and away you go, to anywhere you want..... |
