Aguilar’s Hotel P. 11
2. *Josefa asks about the origin of Lupita’s nickname, “Lupita
Manana.” / When her father catches no fish, she says, “Tomorrow
(Manana) you will catch more, Papa!” P. 11
3. Lupita learns that her mother was sent home after Paco Ortega (Her Dad’s
boss’ son) came to the hotel P.12
4. *Lupita and Salvador arrive home and find out that their father was washed
overboard during a storm and drowned at sea. P.16
