Praise and Prayer Requests

In an attempt to keep God from getting bored with the prayer, "Please bless Sarah while she's in Brazil", here are some specific requests! :)   Thank you so much!

One of my motivations for coming to Brazil was because I was so thankful for the many blessings God has given me in my life.  And He continues to give:

please pray for women suffering from domestic violence, and for the homeless and those in prison during the cold temps

as I continue to feel more and more comfortable with Sao Paulo and happy to be living and working here.

for the smooth transition into my new apartment; for abundant food, security, warmth, and friendship.

as I continue my discernment in my choice between working with women in prostitution and prison ministry.

for having the opportunity to learn new things daily; and for my much-improved comprehension of Portuguese.

for continued patience with cultural differences and language, and that I am able to find the humor in tough situations

as I try to find a healthy balance in my activities and spirituality; that I make time in my schedule for my spiritual life;  that I continue to grow spiritually.

for my safety in the city as I learn my way around, and for my safety during the on-going organized crime violence.
