One of our favorite modes of vacation touring. (This summers (2000) tour was to southern Oregon and
included a jet boat ride on the Rogue at Grants Pass,
a visit to Oregon Caves, a stop at the Britt Festival to take in a Clint Black concert and finally Crater Lake.
We try to take a cycle tour every year. In the past we
have toured: down highway 1 in California; to
Lewiston, ID for the Hells Canyon jet boat ride;
to the San Juan Islands in Puget Sound,
ferry hopping from one island to another; around the Olympic Peninsula and over to Victoria Island;
and around the Mt. Shasta area and
northern California.
We like to take our time and take
back roads (where we can.)

Samantha-our golden retriever, is a veteran motor home camper
and thinks she has to go everywhere
I go. At this time (Oct-Nov
2000) we are taking an obedience class in hopes she will
learn good manners
to go along with her abundant intelligence.
I am told she will be a gem at 2
years;
she is 10 months now.
