Rick’s
Restaurant Review
ANGEL’S
RESTAURANT
4225
Hwy 68
After an arduous
7-½ mile ride in the blazing Kingman sun, we ended up at Angel’s Restaurant in
Lunch is generally
in the 3 – 5 dollar range and there is quite a selection. I ordered the chili
size (no surprise, huh?), Ginny and Gene had the rib special and
Wally and Mary had peach cobbler. We had it on good authority that the rib
special was delicious and that turned out to be true. The chili size was good
as well. The peach cobbler was a little dry, but that was the chef’s first
attempt at it and we know it will get better.
This restaurant
was crowded and there were two reasons for that; the food was great and the
service was excellent. Even though things seemed to be getting quite hectic,
our waitress was friendly and attentive.
On the old Route
66 Riders tach, I’ll rev this one up to 4-½ grand. Redline as always is 5.
