VERGIE’S CHERRY VANILLA FUDGE
3 cups
sugar
¾ cup
margarine
2/3 cup
evaporated milk
12 oz
white chips
2 cups
mini-marshmallows
½ container
maraschino cherries (chopped)
1 tsp
cherry flavoring, or ½ tsp LorAnn
flavor oil
Combine
sugar, margarine, evaporated milk in heavy 2 ½ qt saucepan.
Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes
over medium heat stirring constantly (if you use a light pan, mixture will
scorch easily). Remove from heat, stir in marshmallows and flavoring until
melted. Add chips and cherries. Beat until well blended. Pour into wax paper
lined greased 9 x 13 inch pan (spray wax paper with Pam). Cool at room
temperature. Cut into pieces. Yummy!
