Today, September 8, 2006, I had lunch at the China Buffet on Highway 95 in Bullhead City. It is a fairly large place with dining around the perimeter and the food in the middle. The décor can be described as Minimalist Chinese. In other words, it looks oriental, but is not overpowering. He dining area is light and actually quite pleasant. The parking lot was pretty full when I pulled in, but that didn’t affect the service. I was seated and eating before you can say Kung Pao Beef. They serve that by the way.

Speaking of the food, it was tasty and tender. There was quite a variety available and it crossed ethnic lines. Ever had pizza in a Chinese restaurant? You can get it at the China Buffet. Lunch is all you can eat for $6.49 and they have an All Day Buffet on Sundays and Holidays from 11:00 am – 9:30 pm. They’re open for dinner from 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm – 10 on Friday and Saturday.

I’ll recommend the China Buffet if you’re really hungry and don’t know what you want to eat. This one gets revved up to 8 ½ on the new Route 66 Riders Tach.
