Rick’s Restaurant
Review
Francisco’s
Mexican Restaurant & Cantina
6226 E.
Highway 69
Just
up the street from the Victory dealer in
Francisco’s
is not only a Mexican Restaurant; it is also a NASCAR oriented sports bar. The
contrast in decorations is interesting to say the least. It looks bigger inside
because of the mirror along the west wall. It is, however spacious enough.
They
serve lunch and dinner. Appetizers range from $4.95 for a quesadilla to $9.50
for scampi. Lunches will cost you five to ten dollars. I had the Northpine Burrito (a tortilla filled with beans and your
choice of meat, served enchilada style topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese
& onion.) It was $6.95, large and delectable.
The
service was good, the atmosphere was unique and the food was great. This would
make a good stop on a First Saturday Ride. I’ll rev this one up to 9 grand on
the old Route 66 Riders Tach. Redline is 10.
