The Golden Corral

3580 Stockton Hill Rd

Kingman, AZ 86401

Last night, December 13, 2005, we held our Christmas Party/Monthly Meeting at the Golden Corral in Kingman. This was a stroke of pure genius on our part. The Golden Corral is a great place for meetings and parties. Prices are reasonable and there is a Senior Discount. This is particularly important for our group.

The food is served up buffet style and you can eat all you want for one price. My dinner was $9.75. Unfortunately I’m the type who thinks that if I don’t eat enough to make myself uncomfortably sick, I haven’t gotten my money’s worth. Normally I avoid the “Corral” for this reason. Once or twice a year is quite a treat though. There is quite a variety of things to eat available. The Salad Bar is way over to the right so it doesn’t get in the way of the real food. Main Dishes (meat) are in the middle for easy access. The Bourbon Chicken and the Awesome Pot Roast are highly recommended. Steaks are cooked to order right in front of you. Vegetables are available and are cooked well enough to round out your plate. Vegetarians will find enough to satisfy them, but this place definitely caters to the carnivores among us.

After gorging ourselves silly, we held our business meeting and then passed out the presents. Thanks for the gloves.

The Golden Corral is a great place to eat if you’re very hungry. I’ll rev this one up to 4 ½ grand on the old Route 66 Riders Tach.

Merry Christmas.
