Rick's Restaurant Review

                             LUCHIA'S

                             Wikieup

One of our favorite rides when the weather is cooler is to Luchia's in Wikieup.  It's a pleasant ride of about 50 miles and we're ready to eat when we get there. Upon entering you go through a shop of Indian knick-knacks. Jewelry is displayed and sold in the dining area. Keep going and you can eat outside and watch the peacocks. This is a very interesting place to eat.

The menus have the history of the restaurant printed on them and it makes for interesting reading while waiting to order. Read quickly, however, because the service is good. Prices are generally in the five to eight dollar range for lunch and I usually order the chili size. I have sampled other entrees, the French Dip in particular. Both are excellent and I would highly recommend Luchia's as a destination and a place to eat.

On the Route 66 Riders tach, I'll rev this one up to four and a half grand.
