Launch Box Construction
1. Clamp the wall plate to the work bench without breaking it.

2. In one of the original screw holes drill it out larger with the 7/32 drill bit.

3. Center the 1/2 inch drill bit in the middle of the rectangular hole. Drill through it.

4. Enlarge the other screw hole as needed to accomidate your saftey key. I am using an AV wiring thing so mine is 1/4 inch. (I'll get some pictures so you can see)

5. Drill two centered, 1/8 inch holes approx. 3/4  inches from both ends.

6. Unclamp the plate and test fit the last screw holes to make sure that they coincide with the switch box.

7. Unscrew the nut from the light but leave the metal ring. Place the light into the 7/32 inch hole and replace the nut from the back.

8. Unscrew both nut things from the switchand put the switch through the 1/2 inch hole. Replace the nuts tightly.

9. For the next few steps I am talking about my saftey switch. If yours is different you need to skip to step 12.

10. Epoxy the AV intake wire (the one with the hole in it) into the plate so that it sticks out of the top 1/8 of an inch. Make sure you have 2, 2inch wires coming out from it in the back.

11. Take the AV plug (the one with the prong) and cut its wires to 2 inches. Twist both of them together. This will be your saftey key. Don't loose it!

12. Wire all of the items together with the 14 gauge wiring using the diagram on the previous page.

13. Punch out one of the wire holes in the box. This will be the forward end of your controller.

14. Feed the rest of wire through it. That will be your launch cord.

15. It is recomended that you solder all of the wire connections together, rather than just twisting them.

16. If you are ready to launch then plug a 9V battery up to the cables and set it inside the box.

17. Place all of the wiring ect. into the box and attatch the wall plate.

18. Solder on some alligator clips and you are ready o go.

That wasn't so hard......was it?

IMPORATANT: You could also just buy a light switch. You could use the holes at the end to center your 1/8 inch holes and then use the screw that come with the switch to screw the plate on with.
