2 Stage
Continued
On Saturday I got out to the field at 12:30. It was raining a little and quite overcast. The ceiling was at about 250 feet above the field.
As the day went on the ceiling increased but I still had not totally finished prepping it. Instead of the G80 to an F24 it was going to be an H128  to a G33. But sadly, it never got off the ground.
After all the time spent finding a motor for the lower stage, building both of them, prepping everything, testing the igniters, and (because I am such a good person) helping Marcus with his, the ceiling had once again lowered and the rain started up again.
They announced at almost the precise moment I was finished with it, "This is the last rack. The rain is coming in. See you all tomorrow."
Unfortunatly that was my only day there. Oh well, I guess I will just have to do it later.
Here's a prep pic...
