This is a report on Henry Ford. The reason why I picked him is because he built the first car. Ford was born July 30, 1863 which was during the Civil War. He lived until he was 84. He died April of 1947. When Henry was a little boy he dreamed of building something no one else would, but his father didn't think he could do it. Henry Ford was so smart he finished school at the age of 15. He was also really good friends with Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison is a famous inventor and mathematician. When Ford got older he made the first car with a small engine and it went up to 20 miles per hour. Right after that he built his friend a racecar. He started his company Ford Motors in 1903. Then in the later years he created the V8 engine which was faster and better than the other engines he had built. .He also ran for senate of Michigan. Thats when he built the MODEL T FORD the first original Ford car. Right before he started making the new MODEL A FORD he died. The MODEL A FORD never got completed. His best friend Malcomson took over the company to keep Ford's company running. |
