Travis's Civil War Story
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Terrell Family Cemetary is the resting place of two Union soldiers who were caught stealing hourses from the barn of the tavern. See the picture of the fire place. It is in the basement of the family's current house. This is where the tavern was located. The tavern burned down and the family built the house that stands today over the site. When the two soldiers stole the horses, my step-Great Great Grandfather shot and killed them. They were then burried in the corner of the family cemetary next to the wall.
All of this is in Beaverdam Va.This is where my Step-Grandpa Phil Terrell is from. Also nearby in the town of Richmond Va. is another cemetary called Hollywood cemetary.This is where a confederate monument stands. Also, there are monuments to some of the presidents.vThis is where grandpa Terrells, Grandmother and Grandfather are burried.
